Chutney is our speciality and people travel far and wide to get it, honestly! We grow nearly a third of an acre of onions, which form the base of our chutneys and we grow as many of the other ingredients that we can, including the chillies for our famous Red Onion and Chilli Jam - although we do have to use our poly tunnel to help us with this crop!
From harvesting the fruit to watching the slow rolling boil it's a pleasure to make jam. Nothing excites us more than the first batch of strawberry jam on a delicious Limes Farm scone. True to our vision all of our jam is made at Limes Farm using fruit from the farm and when we run out we source fruit from other neighbouring farms. So once again you can be sure that our products are truly local.
For both jam and chutney we have a core range that is available all year round and a seasonal range that you have to be quick to get as these are made depending on harvests and seasons. But sometimes we have to disappoint because if the sloes haven't ripened and we can't use them, then there's no sloe jam (or gin!).
